The heart behind every mended story
From one act of compassion in Oke Ado to a foundation reaching thousands across Nigeria — this is who we are, why we exist, and the people who make it possible.
A foundation built on one belief: every broken heart can be mended
Hands Of Love Family Foundation began as a small, personal outreach — food packages and a listening ear for widows and struggling families in Oke Ado, Ibadan. What started small grew, quietly and steadily, into a structured humanitarian foundation reaching families across Oyo State and beyond.
Today, our work spans food relief, family support, child welfare, women and youth empowerment, elderly care, community development, skills acquisition and poverty alleviation — all guided by the same conviction that started it all: no broken heart is beyond mending, when a community chooses to show up.
“We didn't set out to build an organization. We set out to answer one knock on the door — and then another, and another.”
When this work began, it was simply about showing up for the widow next door, the family that had gone a week without a proper meal, the child who couldn't afford school fees. We never imagined it would grow into what it is today.
What has never changed is our approach: we listen first. Every program we run is built around what real families in Nigeria actually need — not what we assume they need. That is how hearts get mended, not just handed a plaster.
To every donor, volunteer, and partner who has walked this journey with us — thank you for believing that compassion, done consistently, can transform a community.
